Which cordless drill suits your job?
- Drill drivers: for drilling in wood, metal and plastic and precise screwing. The 18V Drill Driver has two speeds and 18 torque settings; the 18V Twin Drill Cordless Drill Driver has a dual chuck, so you switch from drilling to driving without changing bits.
- Combi drills (hammer drill drivers): drill, drive and hammer drill in brick and masonry. Choose from the 12V Cordless Combi Drill up to the brushless 18V Cordless Combi Drill 70 Nm with 23 torque settings.
- SDS+ hammer drills and rotary hammers: for concrete and stone. The 18V Cordless Brushless Rotary Hammer SDS+ delivers 2.2 J of impact energy and can also chisel.
- Impact drivers: drive long screws with ease, from 120 Nm (12V) up to 350 Nm on the brushless 18V model.

Which cordless drill do I need for my DIY project?
For furniture assembly, shelves and small repairs in wood and metal, a drill driver such as the 18V Drill Driver or 12V Cordless Drill Driver is ideal. If you also drill into brick or masonry, choose a combi drill. For concrete, an SDS+ hammer drill is the best choice.
Which cordless tool should I use to drill into concrete?
For concrete, choose an SDS+ hammer drill: the 12V Cordless Hammer Drill SDS+ for lighter work, the 18V Cordless Hammer Drill SDS+ for general use, or the 18V Cordless Brushless Rotary Hammer SDS+ (2.2 J, up to 23 mm in concrete) for heavy work and chiselling.
What is the difference between a combi drill and an impact driver?
A combi drill has a chuck and a hammer function for drilling in wood, metal and masonry, plus adjustable torque for screwing. An impact driver has a 1/4" hex bit holder and uses rotational impacts to drive long or large screws with high torque, but it is not designed for precise drilling.
What does brushless mean for a cordless drill?
A brushless motor works without carbon brushes. It is more efficient, so you get more power and runtime per charge, and it needs less maintenance. Our brushless models include the 18V combi drills (50, 60 and 70 Nm), the 180 and 350 Nm impact drivers and the 18V rotary hammer.
Can one battery power all these drills and drivers?
Within a platform, yes. All 18V tools share the Maxxpack battery (50+ tools) and the 12V tools share the Fixxpack battery. The two platforms are not interchangeable. The corded 900W Impact Drill runs on mains power and needs no battery.
What is the advantage of the Twin Drill?
The 18V Twin Drill Cordless Drill Driver has two chucks: a keyless chuck for drill bits and a HEX chuck for screwdriver bits. A single twist switches between them, so you can drill and drive alternately without changing bits.
