Can I use my 18V Maxxpack batteries on 12V Fixxpack tools?
No. Maxxpack (18V) and Fixxpack (12V) are separate platforms, each with its own batteries and chargers. Within a platform, one battery fits every tool, so an 18V Maxxpack battery powers 50+ Batavia tools.
What is the advantage of a brushless motor in a cordless power tool?
A brushless motor has no carbon brushes that wear out. It runs more efficiently, so you get more power and a longer runtime per battery charge, and the tool lasts longer. Examples in this collection are the 18V Cordless Brushless Angle Grinder 125 mm, the 18V Cordless Brushless Jigsaw and the 18V Cordless Brushless Combi Drill 70 Nm.
Are all the tools in this collection cordless?
Most are, but not all. A few mains-powered tools are included for long, stationary work, such as the 900W Impact Drill, the 1200W Plunge Router, the 2000W Heat Gun with Digital LCD Display and the 700W Maxxspray Paint Spray System HVLP. Check the product title: tools listed in watts are corded, tools listed in volts are battery-powered.
Should I choose a drill driver or an impact driver?
A drill driver such as the 18V Drill Driver, with 18 torque settings and two speeds, is ideal for drilling and everyday screwing. For long screws in hardwood or frame construction an impact driver is faster and easier on your wrist, for example the 18V Cordless Brushless Impact Driver 350 Nm.
What can I do with a cordless heat gun?
An 18V cordless heat gun reaches up to 550°C and can strip paint, bend PVC, shrink heat-shrink tubing, remove stickers and dry adhesives. The 18V Cordless Heat Gun with Digital LCD Display lets you set temperature (30–550°C) and airflow precisely.
Which Batavia tool is best for polishing my car?
The 12V Cordless Dual Action Polisher Ø150 mm combines a rotating and orbital movement, which spreads the pressure evenly and reduces the risk of damaging the paint. It is suitable for cars, motorcycles and boats.
