Cordless vacuum cleaners for workshop, worksite and home

Sawdust after drilling, plaster dust after a renovation or crumbs in the car: dirt appears exactly where there is no socket. A Batavia cordless vacuum cleaner lets you clean it up straight away, without unrolling a cable. In this collection you will find the 18V Cordless Brushless Vacuum Cleaner, a compact battery vacuum built for real work, from DIY projects to daily clean-ups.

Where a battery vacuum cleaner comes in handy

  • Workshop and worksite: sawdust, wood chips, drywall dust and drilling debris.
  • Renovation and DIY: quick clean-ups between jobs, so dust does not spread through the house.
  • Home and office: crumbs, dust and dirt in corners, on stairs and under furniture.
  • Car, camper and boat: seats, footwells and storage compartments, far from any socket.

Features of the 18V Brushless Vacuum Cleaner

  • Brushless motor with 20 kPa suction and an airflow of more than 12 litres per second.
  • Reusable HEPA filter that captures fine dust, such as concrete and drywall dust, and can be washed.
  • Built-in LED work light to see dust in dark corners and hard-to-reach areas.
  • Full set of attachments: crevice nozzle, sofa nozzle, two extension pipes, floor brush, flexible hose and accessory holder.
  • Flexible purchase: tool only, or with a 2.0Ah or 4.0Ah battery and charger.

Benefits of a cordless vacuum

  • Always ready: grab it and clean, without searching for a socket or extension lead.
  • No trip hazard: safer on a busy worksite or staircase.
  • Healthier air: the HEPA filter holds fine dust instead of blowing it back into the room.
  • One battery for many tools: part of the 18V Maxxpack platform. If you already own a Batavia drill or saw, you can use the same battery (one battery for 50+ tools).
  • Brushless durability: no carbon brushes to wear, and consistent suction under load.

Tool only or a complete set?

Already working with Batavia 18V tools? Then the tool only version is enough: simply click in the battery from your combi drill, saw or garden tool. Starting out? Choose the set with a 2.0Ah battery and charger for short clean-ups, or the 4.0Ah battery and fast charger if you vacuum larger areas or use the vacuum on a worksite all day. Spare batteries are available in our batteries and chargers range.

Frequently asked questions about cordless vacuum cleaners

How powerful is the Batavia cordless vacuum cleaner?

The 18V Cordless Brushless Vacuum Cleaner delivers 20 kPa suction with an airflow of more than 12 litres per second, thanks to its brushless motor. That is enough for sawdust, wood chips, drywall dust and everyday dirt.

Can I vacuum fine construction dust with it?

Yes. The reusable HEPA filter captures fine dust such as concrete and drywall dust, which keeps the air cleaner. Clean the filter regularly to maintain full suction power.

Is the filter washable?

Yes, the HEPA filter is washable and reusable. Let it dry completely before refitting it. Replacement is only necessary if it is damaged or heavily worn.

Which battery do I need?

The vacuum cleaner runs on 18V Maxxpack batteries, the same batteries used by 50+ Batavia tools. It is available as tool only, or with a 2.0Ah battery and charger or a 4.0Ah battery and fast charger.

Can I use this vacuum cleaner for ash from a fireplace?

No, for ash we recommend a dedicated ash vacuum cleaner such as the 18V Cordless Ash Vacuum Cleaner, which has a fire-resistant hose and a stainless steel tank. Fine ash can clog a regular filter, and embers are a fire risk.
