Cordless patio cleaners: a spotless terrace without the scrubbing

Green deposits, moss, algae and weeds between the joints can make even the nicest terrace look neglected. With a Batavia cordless patio cleaner you clean paving, tiles and decking standing upright, without an extension lead and mostly without chemicals. In this collection you will find power scrubbers, multi-brushes (also known as surface brushes or patio brushes) and weed brushes, so there is a tool for every job on your patio.

Applications

  • Removing moss, algae and green deposits from paving stones, natural stone and ceramic tiles
  • Refreshing wooden decking and composite boards
  • Clearing weeds and moss from joints and cracks
  • Brushing flattened artificial grass back upright
  • Cleaning driveways, garden paths, pool surrounds, walls and garden furniture

Which patio cleaner suits you?

Twin Brush power scrubbers. The 18V Twin Brush Cordless Brushless Power Scrubber combines two patented counter-rotating brushes with a brushless motor. The brush head tilts from -15° to +90°, a garden hose connection feeds water straight into the brushes and the IPX7 housing can even be used underwater. The telescopic version extends from 1.35 to 1.8 m, while the Ultimate Twin Brush Set includes all brushes, pads, a soap dispenser and an extension pole.

Maxxbrush multi-brushes. The 18V Maxxbrush Cordless Multi-Brush has a 22 cm rotating brush, an integrated water connection and adjustable speed settings. It comes as a set with a 4.0Ah battery and 2.4A charger, with interchangeable brushes for tiles, decking and joints. Prefer mains power? The 1020W Maxxbrush Multi-Brush is a corded alternative with a wide brush and two-part telescopic handle, and it revives artificial grass too.

Fixxbrush weed brushes. The 12V Fixxbrush and 18V Fixxbrush remove weeds and moss from joints with a re-oscillating brush head and telescopic pole.

Benefits of a battery-powered patio cleaner

  • No cable near water: safer on a wet terrace and no trip hazard.
  • Work anywhere: from the back of the garden to the front drive, without looking for a socket.
  • Chemical-free: brushes and water replace aggressive cleaning agents and herbicides.
  • Back-friendly: clean upright thanks to telescopic poles and second handles.
  • One battery system: the 18V tools share Maxxpack batteries with 50+ Batavia tools; the 12V tools use Fixxpack.

Tips for the best result

Sweep away loose leaves and sand first, then wet the surface or connect the garden hose. Choose a softer brush for wood and delicate tiles and a harder brush for concrete and paving stones. Work in overlapping lanes and rinse the loosened dirt away afterwards.

Frequently asked questions about cordless patio cleaners

Which cordless patio cleaner is best for tiles and paving?

For paving stones and tiles, the 18V Maxxbrush with its hard brush or the 18V Twin Brush with a medium or hard brush work well. Both can be connected to a garden hose, so the water loosens dirt while you scrub.

Can I clean wooden decking with a patio cleaner?

Yes. Use a softer brush on wood: the Twin Brush medium (blue) brush is suitable for decking, and the Maxxbrush is available with a soft brush. Work in the direction of the boards and keep the surface wet.

Can I connect a garden hose to a cordless patio cleaner?

The 18V Twin Brush models and the 18V Maxxbrush Cordless Multi-Brush have an integrated water connection for a garden hose, which feeds water directly to the brushes. The brushless Twin Brush is also IPX7 waterproof.

Does a patio cleaner also remove weeds from joints?

The Fixxbrush weed brushes are made for exactly that, with a re-oscillating brush head that reaches into joints and cracks. The Maxxbrush can also tackle weeds between joints with the right interchangeable brush.

Are all patio cleaners in this collection cordless?

Most are. The 1020W Maxxbrush Multi-Brush models are corded and run on mains power. All other patio cleaners run on the 18V Maxxpack or 12V Fixxpack battery platform.
